A RESIDENT COPING WITH BEING WIFE, MOTHER, AND DOCTOR

A developing era demands a developing mind, and a developing mind means that letting women work. The old school attitude that said women are for only household chores has changed to women working more than men or as much as men. There aren’t any rules for the management of the varied roles a woman plays but there are some techniques that she uses to be three in one- wife, mother and doctor.

1. TIME IS KEY:
To play totally different roles at once, one needs to a get hold of one’s time. Time is the sole variable that is never constant and keeps an individual on toes. Thus, if you’ll manage your time then managing residency, motherhood and marriage can turn into your forte from misfortune. Everything falls into place if you plan them according to your watch. Try it once!

2. DIE TO GET YOUR BUTT TO WORK:

Where there's a will, there's definitely a way. All it takes to get things done is to get up in the morning, show up, do stuff, and have it off rather well as per your To-Do-List. It's your will which will guide you to manage your chores. There will be days you'd not want to get up, but just don't surrender in those days!

3. MONEY, MONEY, AND SOME MORE OF MONEY:

Being a mother needs constant monitoring and paying bills for the nursery, school, high school, and the extra food, extra diapers, and you just cannot do all that with no cash in your bank. Money is the appropriate answer to all the inappropriate questions.

4. WANT FOR EQUALITY:

Women wish to be known for their talents these days, and are progressing at a faster pace as compared to men. Of course, it will take time to earn as much as men do, but just standing there head-to-head, shoulder-to-shoulder, and toe-to-toe makes the endorphins level cross bounds in women.

5. ABANDONING STEREOTYPES:
Stereotypes are for those people that like staying in the same position for days, weeks, and months to come. If you are against stereotypes, then managing these three roles would be less a tedious task for you. It is a collective voice raised against people that still live with a stereotypic mentality.

6. A WAY OF FREEDOM:
When a resident is each a mother and wife, it helps her understand the patients of the same sex, better. A sense of freedom starts developing in the minds of young women when they see themselves playing totally different roles at once like their very own patients.

7. MULTI-TASKING IS OUR THING:

Multitasking is completely destined for the ladies, and they endorse it so well. It makes them invariably happy when they complete a number of tasks in a brief moment. Being a mother offers them a taste of multi-tasking, and so managing residency becomes a child's play for them!

Contentment is what matters after all your deeds, tasks and completions. Nothing else, you need to be content with yourself and with all of your roles.
