Doctors are the only judges of the human behaviour, be it normal or abnormal, they will trace anything out, scan through it, come up with a name and cure it, if there's any need. Likewise, when they work together, they're more likely to search for diseases in their propinquity than anywhere else. And, so they're duty-bound to take care of each other. Let us have a look at the ways in which they express care:
- SYMPTOM AS CLUE:
Symptom is an expression of the underlying disease and doctors know how to differentiate normal from abnormal and vice versa. The moment they find a symptom in a colleague, they make that symptom known to them and offer advice.
- CHANGE IN DEMEANOUR:
A small modification in your colleague's behavior could be a getaway to his problems. Doctors are an open book, they show what they feel and they're most of the time themselves with each other and once they don't seem to be themselves, then something is likely wrong with them. At times, catharsis is the only therapy a doctor can need.
- DOCTORS ARE THE WORST PATIENTS:
On the grounds of knowing a lot about the human body, you're inclined to check for the disease symptoms in yourself, nothing is wrong with being conscious about your body but over thinking about minor problems like common cold, hectic fever, cold followed by a cough is not necessary. They're the worst patients because they overthink things which require no thinking!
- KEEP EVERYBODY GROUNDED:
We love being in an imaginary state, but that's not something to live by all your life. Pondering is one thing and over pondering another. You complicate a straightforward case, and it will cost you a blunder but if you discuss it together with your colleagues, they will keep you grounded and help you stick to facts!
- PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE:
Doctors have a theory of preventing diseases before they need curing. And, so as to prevent it, they keep guiding each other all along by giving tips on preventing a huge number of diseases. Say for starters, using a sanitize before meals. Sounds too cliche but works wonders and saves tons of money (which you might have to spend on the treatment)!
- TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS DANGEROUS:
Too much of anything can become your habit and after some time, your addiction. Too much of knowledge is dangerous for your brain’s capacity, too much of stressing over trivial issues is harmful to your mind, long working hours is dangerous for your body and too many depressive thoughts are harmful to your soul, hence colleagues make sure they're there to take care of you and keep reminding you of their presence!
- FOR THE BLUES AND BURNOUT:
Suicidal thoughts, depressive mentality, workaholics, in reality, are the alarming signs to look for in your colleagues. And, if colleagues are friends and not enemies, then suicidal thoughts can turn into enlightening ones, depressive mentality into happy-go-lucky one and workaholics into play-it-safe people (the ones who work as well as play).
- ONLY A DOCTOR CAN UNDERSTAND ANOTHER DOCTOR:
They say, only a woman can understand another woman because they share the same set of hormones. Similarly, only a doctor can understand another doctor. All that one goes through to get to the top-notch spot, all the hurdles, the backlogs, the criticisms, the workload, the appreciation, everything if shared with your colleague becomes 10x times simpler and lighter!
- EVAPORATE SORROW WITH SORROW:
You feel romantic when you enter a room filled with roses, but the moment you see your better half perfuming herself, the smell of roses vanishes away amidst the smell of perfume. Much in the like, if you share your sorrow with your colleague and he, in return shares another embarrassing, much of an indignation tale, you somehow notice the smell of your sorrow isn't that fragrant anymore! On the similar grounds, your sorrow got evaporated by his sorrow!
- LAUGHTER IS GENUINELY THE BEST MEDICINE:
According to the doctors, two things will save you from diseases, a good laugh, and a long sleep. Laughter is not only the best medicine for your mind, but also for your body and your soul. It cleanses your mind, purifies your soul and enriches your body. A good laugh with your colleagues is sometimes the only therapy you need!
