Laugh out loud to forgo all of your worries. Laugh your heart out to let go of some unhealthy memories. Rolling on the ground laughing because you just could not find a nerve to prevent yourself from doing that! Two individuals connect through laughter, live on the bacteria called happiness, and learn to accept the worst situations in the best way possible. Doctors assume this as a part of their role to make their patients laugh, take their lives a little less seriously, look at the bright light at the end of the tunnel, and to help patients eliminate their diseases at a faster rate than usual.
Here we will have a look at how some doctors engage their patients and themselves in some funny moments:
- 1. A 64-year-old male patient is admitted to the hospital, and the doctor-in-charge is making his relative sign on the admission form after gathering all the information,
Doctor-in-charge: So, you are his brother?
Relative: No! I am his son.
Doctor-in-charge: Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn’t know that.
After a while, post-angiography when the doctor-in-charge enters the patient's room,
Relative: So how is my big brother doing? :P
Doctor-in-charge: Ha-ha-ha, I didn't mean it that way, though it was a compliment for you (looking at the patient), you look so young! :D
- 2. A 24-year-old female patient visits her professor's clinic,
Professor: So, you have eggs every day?
Student: Yes, but not on Sundays
Student: Our cook does not come on Sundays
Professor: I assumed you fast on Sundays! :D
- 3. The doctor is questioning a 55-year-old male patient, and trying to understand his mental state,
Doctor: Do you like visiting parks?
Doctor: Do you like your dog?
Doctor: Do you prefer to dance or to sing?
Doctor: Do you like going out for a walk in the evening?
Doctor: Do you like your wife?
Patient: No! Who does?
Doctor: Well you have to, it’s not like you have an option!
- 4. A 46-year-old male patient is about to leave after a 1-hour session at the doctor's clinic.
Patient: How do you spend your day, Doctor?
Doctor: When I leave my clinic, I go for a walk in the park, then I play with my kids, have dinner and go to sleep.
Patient: Don't you get bored with the routine? You should come visit us some time at the golf club, Doctor.
Doctor: No, it is fine, I like my schedule.
Patient: No, I insist, do come visit us sometime soon.
Doctor: OK, I will think about it later.
Patient: It's like you don't want to spend some quality time with your patients...
Doctor: No, nothing like that. I prefer sticking to my schedule, so here's your medication...
Patient: You know what I think you need to show yourself to some shrink.
Doctor: Who are you to tell me that? Just go away
Patient: Look how you are behaving! You do need a shrink!
Doctor: No, am just pulling your leg, see you at 7 o'clock tomorrow in the golf club.
Laugh your heart out to know what real happiness is. Appreciate what you have got with you right now at this moment to make all of your worries turn to dust!
